Our Story
Steve Palmer, an outstanding musician and avid fisherman, began working in the construction industry at a young age. From starting a sheetrock company to becoming a framing contractor – Steve learned all of the trades. As a result of his work ethic, trustworthy reputation, and a desire to provide affordable homes, he founded a successful family owned and operated home building company. Steve Palmer Homes assisted hundreds of clients in building the homes where they have raised their families and continues to do so after a re-branding to Texas American Classic Homes (TACH). Over the years, Steve was proud to be able to train his daughter to follow in his footsteps to become the owner.. TACH recently celebrated over 40 years serving the Central Texas community with quality homes and plans to continue Steve’s legacy for generations to come.

Brittany Palmer Romo
Starting from the first conversation and plan design to completion, you'll work with Brittany through-out the full build process. You'll be comfortable knowing that once your home is finished, she makes sure your family's wishes are fulfilled. Brittany loves what she does, and it shows!
Project Manager
Chris Romo
Chris has kept our construction projects rolling for 8 years strong. Behind the scenes, he is ordering materials and scheduling sub-contractors to ensure your new home is built in a timely manner. When he isn't running the job sites, he is busy being the ultimate father and sports fanatic.
Office Manager
Andrea Palmer Grantham
Being a part of the company for over 20 years, Andrea has carried many titles at American Classic Homes. Sales, Design, and Loan Assistance to name a few. Currently Andrea is the brains behind our accounting department. Although clients may not get to meet her, we appreciate every title she has held and continues to hold!
